Metal construction professional Dajhan “DJ” Van Rooyen is a co-founder and partner at Steelworx Solutions LLC, a nationally recognized structural and specialty steel contractor. The company is known for delivering complex commercial projects across the United States. Since launching the company in 2005, DJ Van Rooyen has dedicated his career to building Steelworx into an industry leader, with a strong focus on customer service, reliability, sustainability. He guides the company in delivering exceptional construction services on time and within budget.

In Steelworx’s early years, Dajhan Van Rooyen steered the company to become one of the first in the country to achieve IAS AC 478 accreditation. It later added the IAS AC 172 certification, reinforcing its commitment to quality, compliance, and excellence. Today, the firm is a leader in steel and metal construction, with an expansive portfolio that includes landmark projects such as the complex hangar at Pad 40 for SpaceX, the Miami Dolphins’ NFL training facility, numerous retail centers, and advanced aviation and defense facilities. Mr. Van Rooyen is also an owner and co-founder of Storageworx Groveland and Crystal River. He is a member of IAS, MBCEA, the Self-Storage Association. In his free time, he enjoys coaching his son’s football and attending his daughter’s horse riding events. He also enjoys fishing and hunting.
